Mr. Aaron Daniel Martin, age 28, of Bennington, Indiana, entered this life on December 24, 1988, in Knox County, Indiana, the loving son of, David Martin and Dara D. (Meyers) Swanson. He was raised in Washington, Indiana and Lawrenceburg, Indiana and attended the Washington High School.
Aaron was employed for Belterra Casino & Resort in Florence, Indiana, where he was a cook for the Stadium Bar & Grill for 1 year. He was a former employee for Robbie Cunningham in Markland, Indiana, for 2 years. Aaron was baptized at the New Hope Christian Church in Washington, Indiana. He was extremely artistic and enjoyed music, writing poems, pug dogs and elephants.
Aaron was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin and will be dearly missed by his loving family and abundance of friends. Aaron was an organ donor and gave the ultimate gift by donating his organs so others may benefit from his gift. Aaron passed away at 6:54 pm, Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his maternal-grandfather: Lawrence E. Meyers; his maternal-grandmother and step-grandfather: Treva (Raney) and Donald Ragle; his paternal-grandparents: Samuel and Edna Martin; his maternal-step-grandfather: Carroll "Buddy" Swanson and his paternal-step-grandfather: Jim Miller.

Francis 'Fritz' Sigmon
Francis Edward "Fritz" Sigmon, age 70, of near East Enterprise, Indiana, passed away at 7:40 a.m. on Friday, July 14th, 2017, at his residence.
Fritz entered this life on February 16th, 1947, in Milan, Indiana, the loving son of the late Norman Francis and Pearl Leona (Cochran) Sigmon. He was raised in Switzerland County, where he was a 1966 graduate of the Vevay High School.
Fritz was inducted into the United States Army on October 6th, 1966, in Louisville, Kentucky, serving during the Vietnam War. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert (Rifle M-16), Vietnam Service Medal, Marksman (Rifle M-14) and the Purple Heart. Fritz was honorably discharged with the rank of Specialist 4th Class on August 26th, 1968, in Oakland, California.
Fritz was united in marriage on June 20th, 1970, at the Grant's Creek Baptist Church, to Connie Gail Lay; and to this union arrived two daughters, Carissa and Carla to bless their home. Fritz and Connie shared 47 years of marriage together until his death.
Fritz was employed as an inspector machinist for General Electric in Cincinnati, Ohio, retiring in 2007, after 15 years of service. Fritz was a former employee for Schenley Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, for 20 years and was also a former employee for the Carpenters Union Local 1142 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. He was a member of the Rising Sun American Legion Post #59 and the Bennington United Methodist Church. Fritz enjoyed farming and tinkering in the garage. Fritz will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
Fritz will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 47 years: Connie Gail (Lay) Sigmon of near East Enterprise; his daughters: Carissa Chase and her husband: Jim of East Enterprise and Carla Miller and her husband: Kenny of East Enterprise; his grandsons: Nicholas Chase, Devon Chase and Brayden Miller; his sister: Wanda Scranton and her husband: Donald of Fairview; and his several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Norman Francis and Pearl Leona (Cochran) Sigmon; and his sister: Christina Sigmon.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, July 17th, 2017, by Pastor Bill Madison at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana, 47043.
Interment and Full Military Rites followed in the New Liberty Cemetery, by the Honor Guard of the Vevay American Legion Post #185 and the Vevay VFW Post #5396.

Jeffrey Wayne Allen, 54, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 10th, 2017 at his residence.
Jeffrey was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on February 7th, 1963, the son of Richard Allen and the late Joyce (Songer) Allen. He lived several different places while growing up and was fortunate to see much of the country.
Jeffrey was employed at Amazon in Hebron, Kentucky. He was a faithful man and was a member of the Vineyard Church in Cincinnati. Jeffrey enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and being outside. He was a fan of the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers. Being with his kids and grandkids is what he loved most, he was always up for whatever adventure they had planned.
Jeffrey is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Edwards and husband Dustin, of Aurora, Indiana and Katelin Bowling and husband Chris, of Dillsboro, Indiana; by his father and step-mother Richard and Eloise Allen, of Manchester, Kentucky; by grandchildren: Kaylie Allen, Brayden Allen, Karleigh Bowling, Carson Bowling; by his fiancée, Evonne McNutt, of Aurora, Indiana; and by step brothers: Russell and Jeff Mays.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Allen; and brother, Rick Allen.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 15th at the Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, with Reverend Jim Jenkins officiating. Visitation was held on Saturday prior to the time of the service at the funeral home.

Dawn Rhae (Weaver) Demaree, 34, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away at 11:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 12th, 2017 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, OH. Dawn was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 23, 1983, a daughter of Rita (Mayes) Smith, of Rising Sun, IN and the late Raymond Weaver. Dawn was an avid reader and enjoyed all types of music. She also loved taking walks and being outside whenever she could. Dawn was the loving mother of Dominic Demaree, of Cross Plains, IN.
She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Rita and Jimmy Smith of Rising Sun, IN; by a sister, Amanda Fisher, of Frazeysburg, OH; by grandfather, Gaylon Mayes, of Valrico, FL; by uncles, David Weaver (Kenna), of Texas, JR Hutchinson, of Kentucky, Tommy Mayes (Crystal), of Georgia and Michael Marsh (Catrina), of Alaska; by aunts, Maureen Weaver, of Arizona, Gerri Davis (Don), of Arizona, Cindy Klaber (Willie), of Kentucky, Kathy Brafford (Bill), of Florida and Ruthie Hodge, of Ohio. Dawn is also survived by many cousins, other family members and friends. Dawn was preceded in death by grandmothers, Marcella Hutchinson & Bessie (Weaver) Sanders, by grandparents, Bud & Tina Smith and by an uncle, Bobby Weaver.

Derek Alan Archer, age 31, of Moorefield, lost his courageous battle with leukemia with his loving family by his side at 6:50 a.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Norton Women's and Children's Hospital in St. Matthews, Kentucky. Derek entered this life on August 22, 1985, in Madison, Indiana, the loving son of, Alan J. Archer and Michelle Lynn (Holder) Wind. He was raised in Moorefield, Indiana where he grew up on the family farm. Derek was a 2004 graduate of the Switzerland County High School in Vevay, Indiana. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in 2008 in landscape and horticulture design from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. Derek was united in marriage to the love of his life, Trisha Rae Allen on May 24, 2008, in Cincinnati, Ohio. This happy union was blessed with two children, James Hudson and Poppy Louise. Derek and Trisha shared nine loving years of marriage together. Derek was currently employed as a landscape designer for Bella Outdoors in Burlington, Kentucky, for the past two years. He was a former landscape designer for Brentwood Inc. in Alexandria, Kentucky, for eight years. Derek was raised in the Brushy Fork Baptist Church in Pleasant, Indiana. Derek will be remembered for his love of his adoring children, his family, riding his ATV ranger and raising giant pumpkins every year. Derek will be deeply missed by his loving family and abundance of friends. The past seven weeks, Derek put up a courageous fight with leukemia with his family right beside him cheering him on and praying for him.

Fredia Faye Curlin
Mrs. Fredia Faye (Shelton) Curlin, age 82, of Hope, Indiana, formerly of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on April 16, 1935, in Lawrence County, Indiana, the loving daughter of the late, Harry Ray Shelton and Mary Alice (Henson) Shelton-Wayt. She was raised in Medora, Indiana, where she attended high school. Fredia was united in marriage on October 19, 1973, in Newport, Kentucky, to Robert G. "Bobby" Curlin. Fredia and Bobby shared nearly 44 years of marriage together until her death.
Fredia was employed as a seamstress for Excelo in Seymour, Indiana and was a waitress for several years. She was also employed in the laundry and activities department for Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown, Indiana, for many years. Fredia resided in the Switzerland County community since 1993. She was a member of the Vevay American Legion Post #185 Ladies Auxiliary. She attended the Fredonia Baptist Church and Medora Pentecostal Church. Fredia enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafts and was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Fredia passed away at 1:07 am, Monday, July 17, 2017, at the Millers Merry Manor in Hope, Indiana.

Mrs. Martha J. (Seegers) Deveary Robbins, age 60, of Brownstown, Indiana, formerly of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on July 29, 1956, in Seymour, Indiana, the loving daughter of the late, Eldo Alfred and Fern Elizabeth (Jackson) Seegers. She was raised in Milton, Kentucky on her parents farm, and spent some time entertaining vendors and customers at the family business, the Dairy Queen in Milton, Kentucky. She was a 1974 graduate of the Trimble County High School.
Martha was united in marriage on May 14, 1977, to the late, Gary W. Deveary and to this union arrived a daughter, Amanda Elizabeth to bless their home. She was later united in marriage to George A. Robbins on March 31, 1995 in Vevay, Indiana, where they shared nearly two years of marriage together until he passed away on December 14, 1996. Martha was later united in marriage on November 29, 2003 in Owenton, Kentucky, to Robert "Bob" Lusby. Martha and Bob shared nearly 14 years of marriage together until her death.
Martha was employed as an Office Manager for the Mayfield Nursing Home (River Valley Living Center) in Madison, Indiana. In 1990, Martha received her Administrators License from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. After receiving her Nursing Home Administrators License, she was employed in 1992 for Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana. Martha was later employed for Hanover Nursing Center in Hanover, Indiana, Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus, Indiana, and lastly for, Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour, Indiana. Martha served as a Nursing Home Administrator for 28 years.
Martha was a member and past secretary and treasurer for the Kiwanis Club of Vevay. In 1994, Martha moved to the Vevay community and later resided in the Brownstown community from 2008 until her passing. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, listening to music, watching movies, fine dining, oil painting and going to the Outer Banks in North Carolina to relax on the beach. Martha passed away at 6:45 am, Sunday, July 16, 2017, at the Aspen Trace in Greenwood, Indiana.
Martha will be deeply missed by her husband, Robert "Bob" Lusby of Brownstown, IN; her daughter, Amanda Elizabeth (Deveary) White and her husband: Doug of Bargersville, IN; her granddaughter, London Elizabeth White of Bargersville, IN; her sister, Phyllis Jane Daugherty of La Porte, TX and her abundance of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldo Alfred Seegers, died October 30, 1997 and Fern Elizabeth (Jackson) Seegers, died September 2, 2009; her 1st husband, Gary W. Deveary, died October 24, 2016; her 2nd husband, George A. Robbins, died December 14, 1996; her sister, Sally Ann Layman and her brother-in-law: Don Daugherty.
