I enjoyed reading all the other correspondents' news last week. Hope they are back to stay. Since I might have to be out for a while. I spent Friday at the King's Daughters' Health emergency room. Glenda Sullivan took me and stayed with me. I have been so sick and had so much back and leg pain. Wednesday I'm scheduled to see a specialist in Louisville and could use some prayers.
I didn't get to go to Denny Brown's service but send sympathy to the family. Sympathy also to the Iretta Wainscott and Mary Lou Chase families and now to the Millie Coy family. Millie was a dear friend to my family and she will be missed.
A group of classmates from the Vevay High Class of 1957 met at Harry's Stone Grill in Madison last Tuesday. Nine classmates and one guest attended. Nell Cayton, Hazel Wilkerson, Joy Dean Lee, Donnie Raisor, Peggy Furnish, Linda Scott, Ramona Hunt, Glenda Sullivan and Thelma Seel and her daughter Kim Truman. They all had a great time as usual.
Faye Lewis' company was Robin Lawson, Sarah Headen, Mark Scott, Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Jean Sandidge, Nora Gross, Evelyn Smith and Glenda Sullivan.
I had a nice visit by phone with Lola Hall. She said her brother Doug Leatherbury is home from the hospital and recovering.
Ron and Sue Flick's daughter Sharm Barnes is pretty sick with pneumonia. Ron and Sue live on Log Lick Road.
Jeff Peelman will need more treatments and Brenda is having back pain. Keep them in your prayers. Also, Gerri Gregory, Loretta Westrick and many others.
