Well friends it's been a while but I will try to catch up this week. Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is near.
A while back Carol and I had a nice visit with Heather Schmitt Slack.
Ed had some visitors a while back. LuAnn Shafer, Russell Sander and Rick Sisson stopped by. Ed was really glad to talk to them.
Carol and I, Ethan, and Jack went to the fall festival at SCES. Ethan loved the games. It was really a great evening.
Mark Wiggershaus and Mickey were recent callers on the McClellans.
Betty Drew called and left a message. She recently talked to Betty Lock Christman. Betty said her mom Flossie was having trouble with her eyes. Flossie: Carol and I are thinking of you and your family.
Rita Carter, a good friend of ours passed away. Rita lived in Lawrenceburg. She was a great lady and will be missed by her family.
Carol, Ed, Mandy, Ethan, Jack and I went to their spaghetti supper at Aberdeen. Jack goes to preschool there and loves it. I had a great time visiting with Mary Lou Bowman and Denny, Ronnie Baker, George and Polly Baker and Maury Uhlmansiek.
Carol and I went to the Veterans Day program at Ethan's school JCES. Great job by everyone.
Thanksgiving Carol's family all got together at her sister Joann's house in Lawrenceburg. All of her brothers and sisters were there but Chris. Good food and fellowship, that is what family is all about.
Dale and Betty Drew went to her daughter Kathy's for Thanksgiving the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Kenny and family were at Betty and Dale's for their Thanksgiving. Betty said it is always a good time whenever they can get together.
Happy 50th birthday to our friend Keith Jones. Keith, we hope you had a good day.
Julie Leap and family recently attended a wedding in Michigan. She said the weddiong was beautiful but it was so cold up there.
Zach Rogers came home for Thanksgiving and surprised his mom Sara. We know the family was glad to have him home.
Mrs. Frances Martin is not feeling well at this time. Please keep her and Sonny in your prayers.
Carol and I had a nice call from Joan (James) Carrigan. Jo said her family was all doing okay. Some of them were at her house for Thanksgiving then they went to the Ole Miss and Mississippi State football game.
Ronnie May was a recent visitor of his mom and dad, Tommy and Ann May. He spent a few days at home. Please keep Tommy and Ann in your prayers.
Greg Sigmon recently put in a new heating system for Ed and Mandy. It was not good timing but when it goes you do what you have to do. They had heat by that evening, a job well done, Greg. Also my nephew Brandon Kelly put in a new electric water heater. Now the house it total electric. Only one bill they have to worry about. Thanks Brandon you too did a fine job.
Ed is still on crutches, as of now. But he goes back the 17th and hopes to at least be able to walk without crutches. Say a prayer for him and for Mandy too. It has been a long year.
Dick and Carol Schroeder went to Dick's nephew Mark's for Thanksgiving. They always have a nice family get together. They recently called and said they were doing okay. We miss you Schroeders.
Carol called Doris Chase and she is doig well. She said Gladys Lucas is coming along okay after her recent hip surgery. Also, her sister-in-law, Liz Little, has been having some health problems but is some better. Get well, Liz.
Carol and I attended the show America at Belterra. There was a large crowd. The show was great. Thanks, Mary Jo.
If you haven't been down to the Ogle Park you need to go. It is beautiful; that took a lot of work. Thanks Shawna Ramsey and all the others involved.
Ethan's class and the kindergarten, second grade and a few seventh graders entertained a gym full of family members and feiends. They did such a good job. Mr. Grice, the music teacher, did a great job with these kids. It is always a fun time for all who attend these events.
Pete and Angie Browning hosted a birthday party at their home for Lily, their daughter, Sami's little girl. She is seven. Ed, Mandy and boys were among those attending.

Kim and Donnia Stout recently traveled to Indianapolis to have Thanksgiving dinner with Donnie's family. Also, Kim and Donnie hosted Thanksgiving at their home for Tyla and her family.

Carol and I went to Walmart a few days ago and ran into Clinton Scott. He is doing well and it was good to see him out and about.
It was nice to visit with Donnie Wilson, Bob Reed, Harold Scranton and Wayne Robinson. I asked Wayne when he was going to retire. He said at age of 80. Wayne, you're getting pretty close to that now.
Bill Peters, Betty said you better behave until the 25th or you know who won't come and see. Bill, we hope you are doing okay.
