The Florence Birthday Party is still being remembered. We are talking about the good old days and all the people that attended the celebration. Some are wanting to do something like that again. It was a good get together. A lot of memories were discussed that day.

I got a nice phone call from Jodi Winslow asking about the party. She couldn't be here but sent a donation.

The East Enterprise Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary will have their Community Hayride Friday October 27th at the fire station. The rides will begin at 7 p.m. and rides will be every half an hour with the last one at 9 p.m. Hot chocolate and coffee after each ride and other surprises. Come and enjoy.

Steve and Glenda Fritter will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children. The open house will be held at the Swiss Inn in Vevay on November 18th from 1-5 p.m. Light appetizers and cake will be served. All friends and family are invited to attend. Please no gifts.

Roy and Bonnie Duckworth, Glenda Sullivan and Patty Chase visited Dale and Danilee Thompson at their beautiful home that overlooks the Ohio River and the boat docks at Florence. Beautiful scenery. It was Dale's birthday.

Richard and Janet Sullivan of Westport went to Madison to visit their daughter Tracy Seale at the Waters of Clifty Falls. They went on to Vevay to visit Glenda Sullivan before meeting with Jeanette and Squeaky Knaus to go to the Bobby Richards' visitation at Haskell and Morrison.

Cheryl Messmore visited Mom and family a few days. Company of Margaret Lee Weidmann was Kay O'Neal, Jerrilyn and Earl VanWinkle, Melody Reese, Joyce Atwood, Randy, Lorraine and Ryan Brown and Linda Harrell.

Roy and Bonnie Duckworth and 10 more family and friends visited her dad Verle Truitt for his 84th birthday Thursday evening.

Sympathy to the families of Freda Skaggs, Bobby Richards, Jerry Earl, and Phyllis Hambrick.

I got a nice call from Ed Trinkle from Virginia. He will be in Vevay Friday and wanted to take some old friends to lunch.
