4/18/2013 3:00:00 PM Pacer track teams in 'Tiger Relays'
The Switzerland County High School boys and girls track teams competed in the 'Tiger Relays' on Tuesday night at Lawrenceburg High School.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not cooperate, and the meet was canceled due to weather. However, two events had been completed and another one was nearly complete before the cancellation.
The 'Tiger Relays' is a meet where all the races are relays, some co-ed, and all the field events are combined together with the best performances by the two individuals in that event.
In the results of the concluded events:
- In the shuttle hurdle relay: the team of Ben Curran, Zac Park, Eve Galbreath, and Paige Sawyer earned first place.
- In the boys long jump: the team of Alex Curran and Zack Rodgers earned first place.
- In the girls high jump: the team of Emily White and Stephanie Smith earned first place.
The team returns to action tonight (Thursday) at the South Dearborn Invitational at South Dearborn High School; and then comes home this Wednesday night, April 24th, to host the Vevay Newspapers Invitational.
