'Pink Out' raises cancer awareness

Switzerland County girls varsity basketball coach Ashley Kitts and her Lady Pacer squad are inviting the community to participate tonight (Thursday) in the second of two very special games.

"Rise and Unite Against Cancer" is the theme that the team has been promoting for two home games: this past Tuesday's game against Rising Sun; and the promotion will continue for tonight's (Thursday's) game against South Ripley.

It is hoped that the stands will be "Pinked Out" for tonight's game, with fans wearing pink in support of the cause.

For more information, contact any of the girls basketball team members, or call Switzerland County High School at 427-2626.
