Regional golfer

Switzerland County High School senior golfer Riley King, center, made history last weekend when she earned the right to participate in the IHSAA girls golf regionals, which was held at The Legends in Franklin, Indiana. "We believe she is the first girl in school history to qualify for regionals," head golf coach Natalie Wheeler, right, said. Riley shot an 18-hole total 125. "It was a hot and long day with a slow pace of play. We are so proud of Riley for accomplishing her two goals this season: making the All-Conference Team and qualifying for Regionals. Not only did she make the All-Conference Team (6 players), but she came in first place. Riley has only played golf for three years and it has been an absolute pleasure coaching her." Also shown here is assistant coach Rob Daugherty.
